Fake UGG boots are bad for you!

Quite a bit in the news media in recent days on the fact that health experts have blasted fake Ugg boots as “disastrous” and warn they are harming the feet of a generation of young women.

Leading podiatrists and chiropadists believe that the proliferation of poorly made, synthetic fake UGG boots in the last year or two will lead to a big rise in the number of people suffering toe deformities, backache and pains in their feet, knees and hips.  Consultant podiatric surgeon Mike O’Neill has called the trend for cheap fake Uggs “disastrous”, saying of their wearers:

“Their feet are sliding around inside. With each step, the force falls towards the inside of the foot and the feet splay. This flattens the arch and makes it drop.  “The result can be significant problems with the foot, the ankle, and, ultimately, the hip.”

It has long been known that “knockoff” UGG footwear lacks the reinforced heels or insoles of proper UGG boots.  Now people will be aware that as well as falling apart pretty quickly, fake Uggs, bought from dodgy websites, might also do long term damage to your feet.

Remember, you can always view our list of authorised UGG retailers, as well as view all the latest UGG promotional codes and offers available to ensure that you purchase your authorised UGG shoes and boots for the best possible price.
