Fake UGG Websites
The list of dodgy UGG websites below is not exhaustive. Unfortunately many new sites, often but not exclusively originating in China, are launching every week. These sites tend to promote themselves running Google Adwords campaigns (the small ads you see running along the right hand side of the natural Google results). We will try to keep this list updated. If you have purchased from any of the sites below and are worried about your order then we would suggest that in the first instance you contact you card company.
If you have yet to have purchased your UGGS and are concerned about ensuring that you get genuine UGG Australia products, then we would also recommend that you visit our authorised UGG Retailer Section and simply avoid any of these non-UK based websites who seem to sell UGGs at heavily discounted prices. If it looks too good to be true then it most likely is!

Am starting to worry….. I’ve been reading these various reports on dodgy Ugg Boot websites and am going to try and retrieve my money from Uggale.com via my credit card company. Upon ordering the Ugg Short Boots was very surprised and a little alarmed to immediately discover there was no confirmation of my payment. Likewise in the days following, still no confirmation of delivery. There have been no replies to any of my emails which have proved very difficult to send from their website page. Also, the transaction on my credit card does not mention Ugg Boots but some spurious outfit from China. Oh dear – I have been tricked I fear! Only hope I have still got some hope through my credit card company. I shall be reporting them to the trading standards. Just goes to show that you cannot expect to buy real Ugg boots at less than half the price despite the site looking very much like the real thing. Be warned and beware!
I ordered 2 prs of Ugg boots on 1/9/11, payment was made by debit card through payease (Chinese company) which I assumed was similiar to Paypal which was what the company uses to obtain payment. I received 2 prs of boots, to which I noticed that they were fake and certainly not sheepskin, as guaranteed on the web site. My daughter has a real pair of bailey ugg boots so I compared soles, labels inside the lot. The fur inside the boots is not sheepskin either, resembles more teddy bear fur. I have emailed the company twice now with regards to returning and getting a refund and have had no reply. I have today cancelled my bank debit card so that whoever has the details cannot access my bank account or withdraw any more funds. I paid £139.98 for these boots. I have now contacted consumer standards and informed them.

When you look you look up customer service there is no address and no telephone number given. When you send an email they send an email back to you to say that you should receive a reply in 48hrs
Did a google search for Ugg Boots. Top of there list was Uggale.com. Being as it was on Google search engine I felt confident that it was genuine!! Webb site looks genuine and you think that your goods are being shipped from Australia.
After you have made the payment you receive an email from a 95epay with the Payment Company name: Shuang Qian network services (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. The site price for the boots I ordered was £69.28 but in fact more than this amount was taken on my credit card statement. Seeing this Chinese payment name alarm bells started to ring in my head. I then researched the company and found many people have had huge amounts of problems whereas they haven’t received there Ugg boots and had payment taken from there bank accounts or if they have received them they have been fake and not as advertised. On there site it states:- “Promise: All Boot Are Original From UGG Australia Factory! ” THEY LIE!!
This is clearly a scam and the goods if I ever receive them are going to be fake. I emailed straight away after receiving the email asking to cancel the order. I received this reply from them 4 days later:-
Dear Jenny,
we had sent out the goods, and our express company have not yet give the tracking number to us, so once we got the tracking numbe, we will send the email to you asap..

The money has been taken from my bank account. Luckly I paid with a Visa Credit Card so I have asked my credit card company for a charge back!!

They say they are sheepskin and genuine blah blah blah.
They are nothing other than really bad fakes. Made up of poor acrylic fabric and seriously I cannot find words for the outer bit. I opened the box and nearly threw up over them, the smell hit me before I realised that I was not being met by luxury sheepskin. I hate it that these scam artists continue to rip people off for their hard earned cash. My husband does not know a UGG boot from a Jimmy Choo but he can spot a fake when he sees on. My dogs thought they had new toys, I took one look at them and boxed them up again in the hope that I can return them and get a refund. My bank are now dealing with matters.
All I can do now is warn other people and thank goodness for name and shame sites, I just wish that I had done my research earlier.

The also make their website out to lure people in as the real deal, using the little trademark sign. They say on their website that you can return if you are not happy, that is until you get cross with them and ask for a return address, they then say they do not have an address. I read of one lady who was being threatened by one of these companies threatening her with bad credit because her bank had reclaimed her hard earned cash from them.
Do not use this website these are bad fakes.

My husband found what he thought to be a legit site, it certainly looked it. All the photos of the Uggs were genuine and based in the UK. Boots arrived squashed in a bag from Hong Kong, stank of chemicals and were fake, cost him £120! Not cheap. They had included a ‘certificate’ proving the authenticty and assured us via email that they were genuine Uggs. They are worth no more than £5. They said it would cost us £70 to return them and was ‘too uneconomical’. Now have to take it up with the bank and have a dispute form, I did tell them to cancel the transaction as I suspected the company were bogus, but the banks won’t cancel transactions. Now have to send back via tracking recorded delivery, think it costs £20 as I know of another lady who had to do the same. Still waiting for the company to send me a return address! Hate them all.
